The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, NACC appoints Olamide Brown, a British-Nigerian medical doctor, entrepreneur, and founder of the Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Group as the Chairperson of the Chamber’s Health Business Sectoral Group.
Olamide Brown was born in London, England, and attended the Hull York Medical School. After graduation, she worked in acute medicine in the United Kingdom and then went on to be awarded the Japanese MEXT scholarship which allowed her to further her studies in Tokyo, Japan, through the fellowship focused on lab-based research with induced pluripotent stem cells. She is currently completing her study for a master’s degree in finance and economic policy at the University of London and also has a certificate in economic policymaking from IE business school, Spain and a certificate in accounting for decision making from the University of Michigan in the United States.
In accord of her appointment, she promised to work in the light of NACC’s commitment to strengthen ties between American and Nigerian companies/ financiers in the Healthcare space.
