Feb 2025 Breakfast Meeting Of The Nigerian-American Chamber Of Commerce

The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, NACC hosted it’s February 2025 Breakfast on Thursday, February 6th at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

Themed: “2025 Economic Outlook for Nigeria”, the Event brought together stakeholders from Nigeria’s Banking & Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, Creative Industry, Diaspora, Technology, and other sectors across the Country’s Economic value chain.

In a welcome remark delivered by the President, Alhaji Sheriff Balogun, He emphasized current key economic developments like the strategic reforms aimed at stabilizing and growing the economy, as well as the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework.

He further reiterated the Chamber’s position as instrumental in; facilitating Trade and Investments, strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and the United States through networking, advocacy, and trade services, Supporting Economic Diversification, promoting non-oil exports, encouraging investments in emerging sectors and urged stakeholders to collaborate with NACC in shaping Nigeria’s economic future.

The Guest Speaker, Tola Adeyemi – Managing Partner KPMG Professional Services, provided an insightful analysis of Nigeria’s economic landscape, discussing current challenges, ongoing reforms, and implications for 2025.

CEO, Center for the Promotion of Private Enterprise.
2. Dele K. Oye
President – Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Mines, Industry & Agriculture – NACCIMA.
3. Dr. Adelana Olamilekan
MD/CEO, Zenith Carex International Limited.
4. The Event was moderator: Dr. Nneka Okekearu,
Director – Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University.

The Event also served as an avenue to Honour Excellence in the Creative Industry. Mr. Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), an iconic Industry Figure was presented with the Creative Industry Legend Award for his outstanding contributions to Nollywood and Nigeria’s broader creative economy.
