The Nigerian-American Chamber, led by Acting Director-General Wofai Samuel, participated in a Trade Mission implemented by the Commercial Section of the United States Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria.
Representatives from the Chamber included Wofai Samuel, Chair of the Trade Mission Committee; Violet Abdulkadir, Chair of the Programs Committee; and Eileen Shaiyen, Deputy President.
Wofai Samuel’s statement reads, “Led by the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service, and the International Trade Administration, I was happy to participate in the
Global Diversity Export Initiative GDEI) Trade Mission (U.S. to Nigeria).
This engagement will further drive the already existing economic linkages between Nigerian-American businesses, corporations, and sister Chambers in the United States.
Critical to me was my interaction with the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, Texas, led by the President, Harrison Blair, amongst other organisations.
Acknowledging the sterling leadership of Hon. Will Stevens, the United States Consul General in Lagos, Nigeria;
I like to thank the Commercial section for the invitation to the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), and its executives”, she concluded.
