Excerpts from the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce 62nd Annual General Meeting.

The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) held its 62nd Annual General Meeting on Monday, July 10th, 2023, at the Lagos Continental Hotel.

A priority one-day gathering of the Chamber’s stakeholders, the meeting began with a statement by the President, Dame Adebola Williams, KJW., who reiterated that:
“NACC will continue to deliver on its economic, strategic and administrative objectives for growth and economic prosperity between the United States and Nigeria.

The fiscal year of 2022 was momentous, but in spite of the economic challenges, our Programs and Advocacy relationships with the United States, and Collaborations with Government and Private Organizations were revived”, she concluded.

Highlighting the Chamber’s achievements over the last year in various areas including Outbound Trade Missions to U.S., Programmes, the African Growth and Opportunities Act, amongst others, Dame Williams reiterated the chamber’s pledge to engage with relevant partners and government agencies for the growth of SMEs and MSMEs across both regions.

The Annual General Meeting culminated with the presentation and adoption of the financial statement for 2022.
