Wofai Samuel at the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce AGENDA Event stated that in line with her obligation as the Director of Communications, Government Relations, Advocacy & Advocacy, they assembled the:
1. Nigerian Investment Promotions Commission (NIPC), led by the Acting Director-General(D.G).
2. The Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) – a United States Chamber of Commerce Affiliate, led by the Programs Director, Africa/Country Director Nigeria.
3. STANBIC IBTC Bank, led by the Head of Financial Institutions.
4. Afrinvest West Africa, led by the Managing Director, Consulting.
5. President of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce – Adebola Williams.
The objective, she said, was to review current Investment opportunities in Nigeria and the United States of America.
Our conversations over time have been a mix of senior stakeholders in the private and commercial sectors, who are the primary drivers of growth and economic development with policy makers/public sector officials who implement policies/favourable environments to propel these businesses created by the private sector, she concluded.
